Favourite marketing tools & product recommendations | Run & Gun Video Tools:
Turn On BEAST Mode!
The Beast Grip Pro with the wide-angle lens is our new ‘go to’. It is the backbone of your run and gun set-up. This fits basically any phone you have and the beauty is that you can attach your light, microphone and tripod to it and you have an entire film studio in one simple package.
Rode VideoMicro Bundle Microphone
Manfrotto Smartphone Tripod provides super quick set-up and eliminates shaking from even the calmest hands.
The Amaranth AL-M9 Lighting Up (by Aputure) is a great lighting package at a reasonable price. It even comes with orange and blue gels to warm or cool your lighting. To look like a total pro, you can add a second light as a hair light, which adds depth and professionalism to your videos.
HISY Bluetooth remote stops you from looking like a rookie! Ensure your fans won’t see you walking to and from your camera to turn the recording on and off. While seeing you walking around does show authenticity, it can reduce the professionalism of your video. This Bluetooth remote helps to take stills or start and stop video remotely. This is a simple and cheap tool that improves production quality immensely.
If you don’t have the Beast Grip Pro set up, the Olloclip Smartphone Lenses are also a show stopper! Seriously, these lenses really bring out your ‘A-game’. You can add fish-eye, super-wide, macro and even zoom lenses to your smartphone. If you use an Olloclip phone case you won’t need to use your phone naked (meaning your phone doesn’t have a case not that you are shooting while naked 😃 ).
